So far today has been uneventful in terms of contractions. :) However, yesterday was a different story. I had very regular contractions all day, but thankfully I never reached my threshold of 6 per hour (which is when I need to go back to the hospital). I was close at 5 per hour, but they finally calmed down by midnight. Praise the Lord! Sleeping has been difficult as it is for any pregnant woman. They did prescribe Ambien, which works GREAT btw, but I'm paranoid that I'll sleep through contractions as I did at the hospital. Yeah, it works that well!
My mom is babysitting me today :) as she does most days, and Hannah is out shopping with Reese, Aunt Marcy, and Grandma Kathy. She couldn't wait to go out on the town! Kurt is working a normal day and trying to keep up with the work and home juggle. Please continue to pray for my contractions to be few and far between. Also pray that we have a good appt. on Wednesday. They will do an abbreviated ultrasound to check cervical length, so we pray it hasn't changed. Continue to thank the Lord for the extra month He has now given us.
Hey Browsie! Kim and Marc told me about your blog. I'm so glad to have found it. You have been in our prayers, but I am so glad to now have specifics to pray over. I'm going to link you up on Abbie's blog so I can keep a regular eye on you. Be well!
ReplyDeleteAmy,
ReplyDeletePraying for those contractions to be few and far between and praying for those beautiful babies to stay put for many more weeks! Why can't bedrest be peaceful and relaxing?? Never a dull moment!! It sounds like Hannah is having a fun day, I always loved hearing Ava tell me about her adventures!! We will continue to lift you all up in prayer and give God many praises for this past month! Look how far you have come already!! Stay strong and keep smiling!!
