We're super excited that we made it to 32 weeks!! Originally, 32 weeks was the doctor's ultimate goal... back then we thought it was impossible to get to this point, but look what God has done!!! :) Now that we're this far along, we should deliver at Holland Hospital. We've really gotten to know the staff there over the past couple of months, so it is a familiar place to us now. This past week I had two successfully passed NST's. Both babies were very reactive each time.:) Also, at our dr. appt. on Wed. the doctor said I still was NOT dialated!! Can you believe that?!?! Next week will be another big week as we have an extended growth ultrasound on Friday. We will be able to tell the approximate size of the babies, which we're hoping for close to 4 pounds! Beyond that the next big event will be at 36 weeks when I get to come off the meds and OFF OF BEDREST!!! I officially have less than a month to go! It's really hard to believe. When this all started I thought we'd have an early delivery for sure. It just goes to show how God has totally led us through this entire process.
Hannah has been doing pretty well. She's ready for Mommy to be back in the normal Mommy role, but that will be soon enough. Kurt's been working hard to balance work and home, as well as doing a lot of baby preparation. The only way I can "nest" is by making a list of things to do and have others do it. So, sorry and thank you to Kurt and our moms for doing my nesting for me. :) My mom continues to run the house, babysit Hannah and take care of me 4 days a week. I hope I have half the energy she has when I'm a grandma. :) And Kurt's mom continues to juggle working full time and taking an extra day off each week to help us out. So, a big thank you to our moms. We would probably be making trips to the NICU right now if it wasn't for you guys.
We had some special visits this week. Hannah got the chance to play with her cousins Makayla,Sydney and Macy, as well as hanging out with the Genzink clan. Thank you Lynnae for the awesome meal and visit. It was great catching up with you. :) Last night the Kwantes came over to hang out so Hannah had more play time with Isaac, Cole and Kendall. To top it off, Grandma and Hannah got out to the park this week too. It was a fun week for her. :)
We are so thankful for all of the prayers going up on our behalf... it's really an awesome feeling. We ask that you continue to pray for the healthy growth and development of our girls, and that the ultrasound goes well this coming Friday. Also, as delivery nears, we pray that the babies and I have a safe delivery with no complications. Thanks again for your support and prayers. We're so thankful our family, friends and church. :)
